The Greetland Academy Community
The Greetland Academy is proud to play an important part in the life of the wider Greetland community. We endeavour to be a good neighbour and try wherever possible to involve our children in local events and realise the difference they can make to society.
We are keen that our pupils recognise themselves as members of the school, local, national and even global community by contributing their enthusiasm and creativity into activities at all of these levels.
Our children have recently:
- produced artwork and greetings cards for residents in a local care home
- lead a community poetry festival
- independently set up a craft stall to raise money for charity
St Thomas’ Church
We are fortunate to have very close links with St Thomas’ Church.
The Church regularly hosts special festival events for us, such as at Easter and Christmas. We are also very grateful to members of the Church who come into school to deliver assemblies and work with our children.
